"Lettuce entertain you," scientists say.

Was that funny? Hope you got the pun. =D

I'm pretty shocked to hear about Fahima's Fainting Incident in the kitchen.

Well! I forgot if I posted something about my fainting incident, but here goes!

I just came back from the Harry Potter movie last December. (2005) Because the movie was in the afternoon, I kind of forgot to take lunch. My parents just bought some soon kueh home for us to eat.

For some reason, on my way home in my dad's car, I felt really sleepy. I just slept, I didn't bother to think about why I felt sleepy, as that would make me sleepier.

When I reached home, I slept on the sofa after changing my clothes, till about 4pm or so. When I woke up, I felt hungry, and I went to the kitchen to get the soon kueh. Just as I was about to pour the black sauce onto the soon kueh, I dropped the packet. I blanked out for a microsecond. Then, I felt my chin hitting something. My knees hit something really hard. I fell bum-first onto the floor. I tasted blood. Someone was holding me.

My father was like "@#$%^!!!" and asked me if I was okay. Then he loudly told my mum that I had fainted. They were both extremely worried. So was I. I was crying, I didn't know what in the toot had happened.

Oh well... I spent some time crying on the sofa. My parents were consoling me. I found out that I suffered a minor cut on my chin, and some ulcers at the corners of my lips. I kena-ed a few pretty bad bruises on my knees and on the left side of my face too.

My mum called the hospital to just ask them if they knew why I fainted, and they think that I fainted because I didn't have enough glucose in my blood. (yea coz I forgot to eat.)

Yea. And so I spent a few melancholy days. The day after my fainting incident, I went mapling (as usual) and a guy cheated me AND another guy our fame. He said that he would pay us 5000 mesos for faming him, and then he went "muahahahhahaa" and logged out.

The rest of the days were not very good either, especially when my wounds hadn't healed yet.

But well! All is well now. And well, the graph of life is like a stockmarket. Everything will be well after you feel unwell for awhile.
Of course, if you drop into a well... Well, I don't think you're going to feel very well for a couple of months.

WELL, that's enough WELLS for today. And my fainting incident story ends here.

Today, I bought a toy rabbit (it's called Mimihopps, WELL, don't ask my why.) It's reeeeaaaaalllllllllllyyyyy cuuuteee and reeeeeeeaaaaaaaaallllllllyyy expensive. (30 bucks) But she can accompany my other Mimihopps keychain.

I also bought some pens, my favourite science magazine, and Stephen Hawking's best-selling book, which was on the top-seller list for a whole whopping FOUR YEARS in the London newspaper, 'The Sunday Times'. It's about physics (yay), especially about those topics Einstein researched(yay yay), which involves astrophysics and the cosmo-related-happenings.(yay yay yay)

My mum thought that Stephen Hawking looked like a retarded guy, but that is the absolute opposite of the truth. The amazing thing is that this guy can't walk and write. He can't even speak properly!!! How did he actually write a book??!!

Oh yeah and yesterday afternoon I spent my time making a saturated alum (stands for aluminium potassium sulphate, it's a kind of salt.) solution. 'For what?', I hear! Think chemistry! Yes, to grow crystals! =D I chose the red powder. (it's actually alum with concentrated red food dye.) I was following the instructions from the crystal-growing kit. Hope the two seed crystals will grow to be nice, big, transparent, smooth, eight-sided, shiny crystals! =D

Only then, shall I place one of them in a pure alum solution, which is transparent. So I'll get a crystal with a red middle and a transparent exterior.

COOLNESS!

You shall see the results in a few months' time. I promise. If I forget, or if I get too busy, remind me k? I'll post pictures of my two seed crystals... If I can! =D

Meanwhile, I wish everyone all the best in the upcoming 5 CAs. I'm getting immune to them.

A few words of wisdom.

+++ Work hard, play hard. +++

Change the "hard" to smart.

=)
